Banco Santander has several bank lending options for its clients to choose the most suitable, according to their preferences and needs. From non-credit to credit training or a loan to renewable energy, Santander’s financing is extended and allows the customer to have Santander personal credit directed to what they need.
Santander personal credit is divided by the following purposes: personal projects, training, liquidity needs, investment in renewable energy, and also offering auto loans.
Santander Personal Loans
For the personal projects of its clients, three different types of Santander credit are available, which allow for early repayments through the payment of an early repayment commission.
Firstly, Personal Credit 123 is exclusive to World 123 customers and offers exclusive conditions, namely a promotional interest rate in the first 12 months of the credit agreement. The amount of financing varies between € 5,000 and € 50,000, with a term that can go from two to eight years of payment.
As for CrediSIMPLES, this financial product can only be requested in the Santander app or NetBanco Particulares of the institution. This is a fully online credit, and can be requested at any time of day, anywhere. The amount of funding varies between € 2,500 and € 25,000 for payment periods ranging from two to six years.
Finally, the right credit can be used for any purpose, holding a fixed rate so that the customer knows exactly what amount (which is fixed) to pay monthly installment. The financing amount can vary between € 5,000 and € 50,000, while the repayment term begins in the two years and ends in the eight years.
Financing for training
With regard to training credit, for those who want to study, Santander offers three products depending on whether to take an executive training, a degree, or even to increase the academic degree with a postgraduate, master’s or doctorate. The last two products are exclusive to college customers.
All of these have funding amounts up to € 25,000, allow for exemption of the commission from the formalization of credit and also allow a reduction in the spread , if the academic average of the previous year exceeds 14 values.
In Executive Training Credit, the payment term is up to five years and the client can request a capital shortage period of two years, during which only the interest will be paid.
In the Credit Training Degree, the amount of funding for undergraduate degrees abroad amounts to € 50,000. In this Santander personal loan, the payment term varies between two and seven years and the grace period reaches four years.
The Santander Graduate Post-Graduate Credit allows payment of the amount outstanding between two and five years, a grace period of two years and the amount of funding for training abroad reaches 50,000 €.
Need for liquidity
For customers who have a quick and timely need for liquidity, Santander has the so-called Liquidity Credit. The amount of financing is up to 100%, depending on the type of financial application, and the client may opt for a capital shortage period until the last day of the credit agreement, paying only interest until then.
The payment term differs depending on whether the client opts for a capital shortage period: it starts in the six months and ends in the five years if capital shortage is chosen, or it is up to eight years if the client does not opt due to lack of capital.
It is possible to apply for the Liquidity Credit for works at home or to pay for health expenses. However, for this it is necessary that the client presents a budget or proof of payment, respectively.
Renewable Energy Loan
Santander’s personal credit for renewable energies has very competitive conditions for the clients of this institution. First, it offers a spread of only 2%, allowing you to have monthly installments with a lower value. Then the client has the possibility to choose the day of the month in which he intends to pay the same monthly benefit.
In addition, this personal credit Santander is exempt from payment of the value of the commission of formalization of the credit. As for the amount of funding, this may vary between € 3,000 and € 8,000, with the payment term being two to eight years.
Car Credit Santander
Santander Crédito is also focused on car loans. In this case, this banking institution presents four different financing scenarios to its clients: leasing , ALD (Long Term Rental), renting and with reservation of ownership. Thus, the customer can choose the right Santander car credit for themselves.
Automobile leasing allows 100% financing of the vehicle to be acquired, with a credit agreement of up to seven years. During this period, the car is in the name of Santander and, after the end of it, the customer decides if he wants to stay with the vehicle, paying the corresponding portion of the financing, which is called residual value: up to 20% of the PVP ( Retail Price).
Regarding the AML, the amount of financing and the term of payment are equal to the leasing , but with the particularity of the customer buying the car, at the end of the contract, for a value previously defined with Santander. In addition, the client is exempt from the notarization of signatures and the resulting costs.
Santander has a partnership with LeasePlan that allows the customer to rent a new car with the main maintenance costs included. In this Santander car loan, the client does not pay initial entry, formalization fees or residual value. Thus, by paying a monthly rent, the consumer can use a new car during the contracted period – which varies between two to five years – and up to the limit of kilometers allowed.
Lastly, the car loan with reservation of property allows the financing up to 80% of used cars, and the payment term can not be more than eight years. Although the customer is registered as the owner of the vehicle, the contract is made with reservation of ownership in favor of the financial institution.
Through Santander personal credit simulator, the client has the possibility, in a simple and fast, to realize what the total cost of the loan that will pay – including interest – for the stipulated payment term.
